Sasirekha Kambhampaty

Hello world

Welcome to my website!

I am a software engineer with 3.5 years of experience building highly scalable distributed systems on the cloud (AWS and GCP).

In previous roles, I have designed and developed MLOps strategies, real-time stream processing systems using message queues, REST APIs, containerized applications for ML, CI/CD pipelines, and performance monitors, while working with cross functional teams.

I will be graduating from my Master of Science program in Software Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University, in December 2024. Further, I hold a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from The University of Edinburgh.

Additionally, I am an AWS Certified Solutions Architect and Developer. I am currently working on a containerized travel agent system as a summer research project on microservices at CMU.

In my spare time, I love tinkering with new tech and developing bite-sized projects to pick-up new skills. Check out the projects tab for an updated view of my latest adventures. I am also an avid reader of fantasy and science fiction, and spend a good portion of my free time playing the piano and curating music playlists.

I hope you and I find ideas and opinions to discuss and learn from each other!
